Here are my designs for the Cabal transformations. The Boroughs was such a great experience. I got to work very closely with show runners/creators, Jeff Addiss and Will Matthews on these designs. After locking down the look of the Kids and Mother, the Cabal was next. Basing it off of the "you are what you eat" theme throughout the show, turning the Cabal into malformed and mutated monsters made sense. I incorporated a lot of elements from the kids. You can see the three sectioned neck starting to develop, the forehead/nasal pit forming, the eyes, and even the anatomy in the mouth coming out from spending so much time feeding off of mother's blood. KNB FX built these make ups and did an incredible job. It was so exciting seeing them in the show.
